For Thursday, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 3,623 additional cases of COVID-19. That brings the state to a pandemic total of more than 837,000 cases. There were 109 additional deaths reported, bringing the state to a total of 17,576. 78 of those additional deaths were identified through a review of vital records. Berrien County reported 41 additional COVID cases for Tuesday, now at a pandemic total of 13,168 with 249 deaths. Van Buren County had 23 additional cases for the day for a total of 6,250 with 100 deaths. Cass County reported 10 new cases for the day for a total of 4,575 with 69 deaths. All three counties recorded one additional death for the day.
