I'm wondering whether it is still an option for me to add RAM to my Macbook? It is currently running OSX 10.6.8 with Processor 2.26 GHz Intel Core Duo, Memory 2GB 20167 MHzDDr3, Snow Leopard 10K540 or 10K549. I have been deleting files and using secure emptying trash in order to make room. I need it mostly for writing and saving files in Dropbox or Google Docs. I just want a sort of middle way before I'm able to purchase a new Mac. It runs pretty slowly of late and the web browsers I've been using, most recently Firefox, no longer support the system version I now have.
