- Apr 14, 2021 Microsoft Defender Antivirus is the next-generation protection component of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. This protection brings together machine learning, big-data analysis, in-depth threat resistance research, and the Microsoft cloud infrastructure to protect devices in your enterprise organization.
- Legion Defender is a two player game where one player acts as a hacker, and another a victim who must defend against the hacker's attack. This game is implemented as a single python script. Currently the defender is designed to run on Mac OS X. The hacker works on OS X or Windows, but has additional features on Windows.
The user is then offered Mac Defender 'anti-virus' software to solve the issue. This “anti-virus” software is malware (i.e. Malicious software). Its ultimate goal is to get the user's credit card information which may be used for fraudulent purposes. The most common names for this malware are MacDefender, MacProtector and MacSecurity. - Dedicated protection and product updates, which includes updates related to keeping Microsoft Defender Antivirus up to date.
